The challenge
A U.S. Oncology Marketing team at a large Life Sciences company was preparing for multiple product launches and wanted to leverage the power of a Large Language Model (LLM) to increase their productivity and improve ways of working due to the scope and intensity of work in the pipeline, as well as to position the team well for the future of work.
The approach
- Cross-functional client interviews
We identified perspectives and current level of AI competency among a cross-functional group of stakeholders, current pain-points across key business processes, and goals for workshops.
- Generative AI upskilling workshop
Our team delivered a fun and engaging workshop to build a common understanding of how Generative AI can be applied, best practices, and live demos.
- Use-case identification workshop
We also facilitated an interactive workshop to help the marketing team understand the governance process for implementing Generative AI use cases and worked with the team to identify new high-value use-cases to propose for broader implementation.
- Use-case prioritization
Lastly, we ranked use-cases for prioritization and completed IT templates for use-case submission including simulated real-life interactions with Gen AI to illustrate how it would work.
The result
By equipping the marketing team with comprehensive knowledge of AI tools available and delivering a two-part workshop, quality and productivity rose significantly over three months. Vynamic’s interactive, team-oriented workshops included live demonstrations, user guidance on ChatGPT Enterprise, and functional ideation sessions to pinpoint how generative AI could improve efficiencies or reimagine key processes that alleviated pain points. The top two use cases were further refined and provided to IT to scale and further develop.
