Copper Verdigris – The way copper oxidises to form a blue-green patina has always fascinated me. Seeking to understand that process was one of my first steps into chemistry and science that has now defined much of my career. I love spotting the colour on old copper statues and roofs, and how it is constantly changing as it continues to react to the elements
