The challenge
A large pharmaceutical company’s Data Science & AI team was looking for support to develop and scale their internal AI platform engine to power customer insights, precision engagement, and multi-channel execution for commercial and medical teams.
The approach
- Established a Strategic PMO
Established and managed a Program Management Office (PMO) to drive and govern the program. The PMO clearly defined roles and responsibilities, project tracking, and resource allocation to identify, prioritize, plan, and track demand. An intake and change management process workflow was developed to manage new priorities and/or changes to existing work.
- Product Roadmap & Reviews
Vynamic built and governed capability roadmaps to facilitate the quarterly demand planning process and communicate plans to leadership. The team also developed product reviews to provide updates to leadership and identify additional strategic opportunities and capabilities.
- Capability Development & Delivery
- Supported the team through the development of their core capabilities and value story and developed plans to rapidly scale across the organization.
- Developed capability use cases aligned to a roadmap and developed a repeatable process for initial engagement, development, and post-launch enhancements.
- Led the strategic planning and implementation of multiple commercial and medical applications and predictive triggers, while also scaling to ex-US markets.
The result
Multiple workstreams ultimately converged into a newly formed Program Management Office, where Vynamic helped develop the operating model for demand planning, resource allocation, intake, and change management. By aligning stakeholders and proposing new operating models, the new office was able to rapidly expand and leverage the base that had been built for new generative and predictive AI solutions.
