The challenge
A Healthcare consumer services company that partners with Fortune 500 employers hypothesized that its member-centric business model would be optimized with more effective Provider engagement. Aligning expectations of Providers, members, and its self-insured clients was essential to creating a reinforcing and sustainable model that would allow for both increased member satisfaction, and reduced healthcare costs.
Our approach
Vynamic created and tested a set of hypotheses externally with Providers and industry executives in target geographies to collect the voice of the Provider. The information gathered from the hypotheses testing effort was synthesized to reflect the expectations of Providers and inform the engagement strategy. The appropriate relationship campaigns, services, and incentive programs were defined as part of the overall Provider strategy.
The results
Vynamic coupled market research with its industry experience to develop a comprehensive Provider engagement strategy that could be operationalized quickly to meet the customer’s time-sensitive needs.
Some specific results achieved include:
- Identified the right Providers in the right geographies
- Established portfolio of standards and premium services to fulfill Provider expectations
- Developed cost-benefit analysis for that anticipates $3M in economic returns in 2010
