The challenge
A global life sciences company was undergoing several large-scale transformative programs across a common set of stakeholder groups over the same time period. Vynamic was asked to establish an integrated approach for change management to ensure appropriate and timely stakeholder engagement, and pull through of organizational priorities and key messages via an overarching communication and engagement plan.
Our approach
Vynamic partnered with the client to:
- Create an approach for maintaining an Integrated Change Timeline to help coordinate change management activities and prevent clashes and/or misalignment;
- Establish a core change management team to regularly perform a change management “health check,” to ensure changes are driving the right new behaviors and mindset shifts;
- Develop a network of champions to help embed and sustain changes being driven by transformation programs;
- Provide consultative resources and support for program/project teams to optimize communications

Change network: 10+ client champions representing a cross section of the therapeutic areas and functional teams
The results
- Created and maintained integrated change timeline to provide transparency across key changes affecting the business; leveraged timeline to prevent clashes and consolidate engagement and communication where possible
- Coordinated stakeholder engagement across 15+ programs/initiatives to reduce “engagement fatigue”
- Formed Change Network with representation across therapeutic areas and major functions to help embed changes being driven by programs/initiatives, and influence adoption within their teams
- Developed overarching cross-program communications plan to provide organizational level context
- Defined consistent communication and change management approach, along with supporting tools and resources, for program/project teams to leverage
